Surgery

Surgery isn’t really that scary. Nurse Guru-Joy will take great care of her patients, and once things are all finished up, then you get a nice warm blanket to snuggle with. Apparently Derrian just smiles when she is drugged up on anesthetic as well, all the Nurse Joys found this amusing, lol.

And with this challenge comes MORE clues to the baby mystery. (Can we take any more?) Hidden bad guy has done a hostile take over! It is just what Nurse Guru-Joy thought it might be, a Were-Leopard that we will dub Mr. A**hole Endo (pardon our language). His spots are everywhere that they should not be, they just cause destruction where ever they might be. Not to mention Gelatinous Cube and his twin brother are created by these silly spots.

Not to mention that Mr. A**hole Endo has closed off one of the routes needed in order to track down the final boss who took our future baby to another castle…. B*stard….

But with the surgery comes some posties, we know some next steps we have to take on our epic adventure and the going has been made a little bit better by give Mr. Leopard a laser beam to the face!!

Surgery

Surgery isn’t really that scary. Doctors and Nurses will take great care of her patients, and once things are all finished up, then you get a nice warm blanket to snuggle with. Apparently Derrian just smiles when she is drugged up on anesthetic as well, all the Nurses found this amusing, lol.

And with this challenge comes MORE clues to the baby mystery. (Can we take any more?) It is pretty bad. The Doctor explained to CKnight that if she didn’t know we wanted to have kids, then she would have taken both ovaries OUT! They both were the size of an orange (when they should be about walnut size). Not good. Also the Endometriosis is a real thing here. Leopard spots of the ‘very impressive’ kind, all over causing damage, pain, and blocking up one tube needed to carry that egg down to the uterus.

So many check boxes on the ‘negative’ side of this list.

But with the surgery comes some positives, we know some next steps we have to take, and the Doctor took care of the cysts and lasered away as much Endometriosis as she could.

OB Appt

Woo! More doctors! What does Nurse Joy level up to when she gets enough experience? We want to know, because we are about to give her ALL the XP!

Little squishy fun bags on inside lady parts need to get checked out, especially when they cause poor Derrian to curl up and cry for hours every month. SO new doctors, special doctors this time around Nurse Guru-Joy perhaps.

More poking and prodding and we get more answers to a year long list of questions (and really a life time enemy). Little squishy fun bags are enemy named Gelatinous Cube and his twin brother! And they are not alone because they only appear when the main bad guy is hiding somewhere. Nurse Guru-Joy can not see this unseen enemy, but she has an inkling that the dude is not far away.

A whole pile of fun issue can accrue because of these punks, and we don’t like them one bit!

Nurse Guru-Joy’s suggestion on finding the main bad guy? Surgery is the only answer.

OB Appt

Woo! More doctors! We figured we would go see more of a professional in terms of lady bits. Especially when said lady parts cause poor Derrian to curl up and cry for hours every month. SO to a dedicated OBGYN we go!

More poking and prodding and we get more answers to a year long list of questions (and really a life time issue). Both ovaries have large cysts on them. ‘Chocolate cysts’ is how the doctor described them. These are normally caused by Endometriosis, but of course you can’t tell for sure unless surgery is preformed to look outside the uterus.

A whole pile of fun issues can accrue because of this and most we have been experiencing since before Derrian ever know of who CKnight was. We don’t like this one bit!

So next steps? Surgery is the only answer.

Basement upgrade!

Basement upgrade!

Our game (geek) collection is pretty extensive, too the point that we just had no more room to store it on the shelving we had currently in the basement. Mission accepted! (And family to the rescue!)

Before

The ‘wall’ before. You can see it is jammed full, and we had to resort to putting games behind other games, not ideal. Gotta love the Ikea shelving EVERYWHERE!

After

And the ‘wall’ after. We kept a couple of the ikea shelves and custom built the rest around it. We are still in need of a good spot for action figured, the damn cats keep knocking them over 🙁
